Although it is not as large as Camden's and not nearly as active, I found Rockport's to be easily as charming ... in part because it is never overrun with tourists. ![Two private sailboats. In addition, two charter schooners operate out of Rockport harbor, Heron and Timberwood. Each measures approximately 65 feet in length, with masts of roughly equal length. During the winter months, Heron operates out of the U.S. Virgin Islands. The owners, husband and wife, have a home in New Hope, not far from Rockport, but while in the islands they live aboard the boat. Not for this landlubber, thank you anyway, even if it's free rent.
