This and 25 frames following, scenes from Bodie, CA, so-called ghost town. Once a flourishing gold-mine community with a peak population of 10,000 in the late 1800s, the last resident turned out the lights decades ago. It is now preserved and open to the public as Bodie State Historic Park, located in Mono County, CA, on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. [10/09 & 07/11]
