This and three frames following, rare (and abandoned) Trabant, Bryce City, CA. Lovingly known as the "Trabi," it was manufactured in East Germany from 1957 to the collapse of communism in 1991. It was effectively the VW Beetle of the Eastern bloc. More than 3,000,000 were built. Its horribly polluting two-stroke engine made a whopping 18 horsepower.
